MF 672 Mounting Clip .875"

I already had an extension arm and ordered the receptacle assembly and mounting clip and the receptacle assembly diameter is too tight to allow the tiller extension from entering properly. I am very disappointed that your matching items do not fit properly and wonder who I might speak with to correct this problem?
