Leisure
Furls™ News
A full-page ad is currently running in the September and October
issues of "BLUE WATER SAILING." The ad offers a free Forespar
hat to anyone stopping by the Forespar booth at the Newport or Annapolis
shows, both providing factory personnel. You are encouraged to visit
us in Tent D, booth 10-12 at Newport, and tent C, booth 69-72 at
Annapolis. Each show will see a number of boats with Leisure Furls
including Morris 46, Farr 50 pilothouse, Hylas 49, Bruckmann 48,
the new Ted Hood designed Portsmouth 48 and the Taswell 58.
Ted Hood Sr.
has chosen Forespar as the builder for both the mast and the Leisure
Furl Boom for his personal boat, Robin Too. Ted’s
Robin Too is a newly designed motorsailor, known as the Portsmouth
motorsailor 48. Ted hopes to market this boat here in the U.S. This
first hull was made in Poland and outfitted in Portsmouth, RI at
Hinckley Yacht Services.
A special thanks
go to the guys from Florida Rigging and Hydraulics for their help
this past Spring in commissioning our first carbon fiber Leisure
Furl. They have become one of South Florida’s leading Leisure
Furl installers.

Bill Hanna, COO of Forespar Marine Products, announced that effective

as usual at Forespar. Art will continue to work out of the California
plant while Bill remains in Milwaukee, WI.
